We have been in our home two years and there have been no problems.
On their website they recommend the professional contractors that you can hire to build your home. My contractor Rick Sims hasn't been to my home in the last 10 days and construction is over 4 months behind. My contract states I have 15 days to pay after the walk through of the home. Small items that were left undone for months; there's no attention to detail.

There were so many details that needed to be brought to his attention. The contractor stated the HVAC system was installed underneath the house. I have a furnace that is not in working condition with temperatures dropping soon, no AC unit and a fireplace that is sitting in the living room and is not connected. I have paid $116,000 and I'm still waiting for my home to be completed. As Wausau Homes is unable to control the time frame of the contractors they recommend or the quality of their work, I would not recommend you use them.

And the people who had it built and lived here A very long time were old no kids. Everything is so Compact in the bathrooms was awful trying to get a Walking tub installed. The sinks are brown and green so everything I get for them has to match their colors. It's been a pain And a lot of work to live here. Mine look awful when I clean inside and out Looks like I did nothing. All electric heat which is under the windows so I've had to hem all the curtains and still the heat rises up into the curtains. And there is just one long on in each room so I cant put anything on that Wall or it blocks the heat. I dont think USDA was suppose to loan Me for this home and trying to keep it in good Shape has been a chore because it is like a trailer House. The bedrooms barely have room for beds And a dresser. The closet doors are cheap and with In the first year I was her were off the tracks.
